Iran: Execution of Uprising Protester Shahram Sadeghi by Henchmen of Mullahs’ Regime in Karaj
Regime’s Judiciary: ‘Shahram Sadeghi drove at high speed towards the agents, and after injuring seven of them, he continued on his way and subsequently, with the cooperation of rioters, set fire to his vehicle.’
On the morning of Sunday, August 16, 2026, the clerical regime’s judiciary, in another heinous crime, hanged the brave protester Shahram Sadeghi.

The Revolutionary Court of Karaj sentenced Shahram, who had been arrested on February 5, 2026, to death and the confiscation of all his property on May 30, 2026.

The regime’s judiciary claimed that on the night of January 8, 2026, near the Golzar Crossroads in Karaj, Shahram Sadeghi ‘drove at high speed towards the agents, and after injuring seven agents, he continued on his path, and subsequently, with the cooperation of rioters, set his car on fire.’ According to the judiciary, he ‘was identified and arrested while hiding in an addiction rehab center under a fake identity, although he was not addicted.’

The charges against Shahram were ridiculously formulated as ‘operational action in favor of the Zionist regime, the United States, and hostile groups’ against the security of the regime.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), strongly condemned the criminal execution of Shahram Sadeghi. Highlighting the global condemnation of the wave of executions in Iran, she called on the United Nations Security Council to take urgent and practical action to compel the Iranian regime to halt its inhumane executions.
