The Uprising Continues as the Resistance Units of MEK Intensify Their Activities
Increasing the activities of MEK Resistance Units as the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people continues

Despite a brutal crackdown by Iranian security forces, IranProtests continues and the regime’s authorities are now warning of another large-scale protest movement in the near future. This was evident in last week’s Friday prayers, where the representatives of regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei made it clear that, in no terms, do they see the threat of the protests as having passed.
“The enemies of the establishment are sitting in ambush. The sedition that happened has not ended.” Ahmad Mousavi, the Friday prayer leader of Shahreza said.
“A large sedition lies ahead, which the enemy has invested on for more than two years. After Iraq and Lebanon, they will come for you. The goal is to overthrow the establishment.” Abbas Masoumi, the Friday prayer leader of Roudian, said.
Ali Shahcheraghi, the Friday prayer leader of Shahr-e Ray, said, “When we put an incident behind, let us not think that it is finished. Let’s stay wary and keep an eye out for the enemy sitting in ambush… the riots continue in some corners [of the country].”
“In the past 40 years, the enemy has employed all its might in this regard, and experience shows that the enemy will never remain silent,” Ali Khatami, the Friday prayer leader of Zanjan, said.
These fearful remarks are only the tip of the ice, and it reflects the inability of the regime to quell the uprising and their fear from the activities of the resistance units of Iran’s main opposing group the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI-MEK). The resistance units of MEK had a key role in organizing the uprising, and they are continuing their activities all across Iranian cities.

According to the statement of the Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) “on Sunday, December 8, 2019, despite the Iranian regime’s suppressive measures, including the state of alert among its security forces, the Resistance units posted pictures and messages of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and Mr. Massoud Rajavi, the Iranian Resistance’s Leader, in different parts of Tehran, including Tavanir Bridge and the University of Agriculture. The day before, Tehran and Sharif Industrial universities, and other parts of the capital had been scenes of similar activities,”
“The same day, December 8, pictures and messages of the Resistance’s Leadership were also posted in several cities, including Kerman (south-central), Ahvaz, Abadan, and Masjed Soleiman (southwest), as well as Lahijan and Rasht (north), and Zanjan (northwest),”
The NCRI’s statement said that the banners posted by the resistance units were the messages of the Resistance’s Leadership. Some of the banners read, “The end of the Supreme Leader’s oppression and injustice is near,” “Uprising continues. The only answer to the Sheikh is fire,” “Overthrow of the anti-human regime is certain,” “Death to Khamenei, hail to Rajavi,” “Rebellious youth made life like hell for you,” “Turn every alley and street into a bastion of uprising and revolt,” “UN Security Council must declare the regime’s leaders as criminals against humanity for suppression and bloodshed so that they face justice.”
