Iran: Resistance Units Stage 110 Actions in Tehran and 20 other Cities on Cyrus the Great Day
‘We are the children of Cyrus, we are the Resistance Units,’ ‘The Iranian is awake, disgusted by both the Shah and the mullah,’ ‘Hail to Mossadegh and Rajavi’
On the occasion of 29 October, Cyrus the Great Day, Resistance Units in various cities across the country carried out 110 actions, emphasizing the continuation of the struggle against the mullahs’ regime and the rejection of all forms of tyranny, whether monarchical or religious. The clear message of these activities is that the youth of Iran will continue their struggle until the end to restore their national identity and achieve freedom, independence, and a democratic republic.
These bold actions were carried out on 28 and 29 October under high-security conditions in Tehran and 20 other cities, including Shiraz and Pasargad, Mashhad, Isfahan, Karaj, Ahvaz, Rasht, Kermanshah, Bandar Abbas, Hamedan, Arak, Ilam, Lahijan, Shahin Shahr, Jahrom, Ramsar, Shahriar, Tabriz, Kamyaran, and Kangavar.
In Pasargad, near the tomb of Cyrus the Great, members of the Resistance Units held handwritten placards and images of the Resistance leadership, chanting, ‘Death to the oppressor, whether the Shah or the Leader,’ ‘Hail to Mossadegh and Rajavi,’ and ‘We are the children of Cyrus, we are the Resistance Units.’
Other centers and landmarks witnessed extensive activities by the Resistance Units, including:
Dozens of actions and wall graffiti in Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, and Ahvaz with slogans such as, ‘No to the mullah, no to the Cossack (referring to Reza Shah),’ ‘The Iranian is awake, disgusted by both the Shah and the mullah,’ and ‘Cyrus, Mossadegh, we fight, we die, we will take back Iran.’
Extensive installation of images and posters of Massoud Rajavi, the leader of the Iranian Resistance, and Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, with slogans such as, ‘The mullahs must go just like the Shah; sovereignty belongs to the people of Iran’ and ‘Neither the Shah nor the mullah, rejecting dictatorship and dependency.’
Displaying placards featuring Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan at Hafezieh in Shiraz and major squares in other cities.
