The Iranian regime’s would-be Foreign Minister reiterated his ministry’s dedication to promote and support terrorism. According to the Fars News Agency, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Ebrahim Raisi’s nominee for the Foreign Ministry, told the regime’s parliament that he would “continue Qassem Soleimani’s path,”.
Qassem Soleimani was the IRGC’s Quds Force commander, charged with spreading terrorism and chaos across the world. Soleimani directed and supported the regime’s proxy groups in the region, personally participated in the Syrian Civil War, and prevented Bashar-al Assad’s dictatorship from collapsing. He was known as a “child killer.”

Who was Qassem Soleimani?
He was killed in a drone strike in January 2020 while trying to secretly visit Iraq.
Amir Abdollahian underlined that a lot of his experience was when he “cooperated with Soleimani in the foreign policy domain.”
The Iranian regime’s Foreign Ministry has always been supporting the regime’s terrorist activities.
In a leaked audiotape in late April 2021, Mohammad Javad Zarif, the so-called “moderate” foreign minister, underlined that the mullahs’ foreign policy is only meant to justify the regime’s terrorism abroad.
In this leaked audiotape, while calling the regime’s terrorist activities the “field,” underlined that “the military field rules.” “I have sacrificed diplomacy for the military field rather than the field servicing diplomacy,” Zarif added. He also underlined that the regime’s Foreign Ministry had had a “Security structure.”
In January 2021, Mohsen Baharvand, Deputy Minister of Legal and International Affairs to Zarif, confirmed Zarif’s close relationship with Soleimani.
“I will never forget that when I went to the Political Studies Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs almost every Tuesday at 7:30 am to attend a strategic meeting on foreign relations, I saw the glorious martyr, General Haj Qassem Soleimani, who was escorted out of the meeting room by Dr. Zarif,” Baharvand wrote according to the semi-official ILNA New Agency.
The world was shocked when in 2018, the regime’s diplomat-terrorist, Assadollah Assadi, tried to bomb the opposition’s rally in France after transporting 500 grams of the TATP explosives. Assadi was later convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison. The Foreign Ministry played an important role in facilitating the foiled bombing plot.

What you should know about Iran’s network of terrorists and spies in EU
Amir Abdollahian has been part of the regime’s Foreign Ministry “security” apparatus for years. Since he was the Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs, he closely collaborated with Soleimani.
His nomination by Raisi once again indicates the regime is willing to increase its terrorist threats. Raisi himself has played an important role in financing and supporting terrorism, particularly while he was the caretaker of the Astan-e Quds Razavi, a huge financial institute linked to the regime’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
As asserted by the Iranian Resistance, the current administration shows the real face of a “plundering and terrorist” regime. The world community should understand that the regime’s terrorism and diplomacy go hand-in-hand. As the regime’s former president Hassan Rouhani acknowledged, “the frontline and diplomacy are two arms” of the regime. Thus, they both should be targeted by the international community.
