Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Zanjan, Kerman, Khuzestan, Fars, Mazandaran, Alborz, Central Province, East Azerbaijan, Gilan, and Lorestan have had an increase in COVID-19 infection, hospitalization, and death in recent days. (E’tamad daily, October 28, 2021)
Mazandaran Medical University: In the past two weeks, 400 to 450 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized daily. (IRNA news agency, October 28, 2021)
Tabriz Medical University: In the past 24 hours, 179 new COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, and 16 died. Currently, there are 1,009 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in the Province.
Mashhad Medical University: Currently, 200 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized daily in Khorasan Razavi
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Thursday, October 28, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 547 cities had exceeded 466,000. In Tehran, the death toll reached 109,175, in Khorasan Razavi 38,110, Isfahan 31,725, West Azerbaijan 17,233, Mazandaran 17,130, Fars 17,045, Gilan 16,260, East Azerbaijan 16,198, Alborz 13,748, Kermanshah 8,564, Central Province 8,513, Kurdistan 7,492, North Khorasan 5,933, Ilam 4,438, South Khorasan 4,016, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 3,394.
