In Protest Against the Burial of Ali Khamenei Near the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza in Mashhad
Simultaneously with widespread public outrage over the clerical regime’s display of Ali Khamenei’s funeral procession and his burial next to the holy shrine of the eighth Shiite Imam, PMOI Resistance Units carried out 25 daring operations in various locations. These anti-regime operations took place in Tehran and the cities of Isfahan, Yazd, Babol, Aligudarz, Azna, Arak, Saveh, Sonqor, Karaj, Zahedan, Khorramabad, Dorud, Rezvanshahr, and Chabahar.
These bold actions were a direct response to the mullahs’ regime attempting to exploit sacred religious sites for the burial of Ali Khamenei, a move that has met with deep anger and condemnation from the Iranian people.
The targeted centers of repression and regime institutions include:
– Torching a Basij base of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Karaj
– Torching student Basij centers in Yazd and Zahedan
– Attacking the State Security Force (SSF) headquarters in the Pishin district of Chabahar
– Torching a regime repression center operating under the guise of the ‘Islamic Council’ in Aligudarz
– Torching the sign of a Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) spy center in Dorud
– Attacking and torching signs of IRGC Basij intelligence and espionage centers in Khorramabad and Rezvanshahr
Additionally, during this campaign, hated symbols, banners, and billboards of Ruhollah Khomeini, Ali Khamenei, Mojtaba Khamenei, and Qassem Soleimani were set on fire in Tehran, Isfahan, Yazd, Babol, Aligudarz, Azna, Arak, Saveh, and Sonqor.
