An expansive wave of coordinated international demonstrations swept across North America and Europe during the week of July 25–30, 2026, as supporters of the Iranian Resistance organized rallies, sit-ins, and exhibitions to condemn the Iranian regime’s escalating use of the death penalty. In direct response to the recent executions of political prisoner and PMOI member Mehdi Khanaki, as well as Isfahan uprising protesters Abolfazl Sepahi and Amirhossein Safari, diaspora networks mobilized to demand immediate international intervention. These synchronized events also commemorated historic atrocities, including the 1988 massacre, while firmly rejecting both monarchical and theocratic dictatorships in favor of a secular, democratic republic.

Berlin, Germany: For the 147th consecutive day, supporters held a sit-in protest outside the Iranian regime’s embassy, denouncing the facility as a hub of espionage and terrorism. The demonstrators demanded an end to executions and emphasized that the only viable solution for Iran is a democratic republic based on Maryam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan.

In a massive show of transatlantic coordination, diaspora networks executed simultaneous rallies in multiple major cities, largely aligning with the 131st week of the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign in Iran’s prisons.
The Hague, Netherlands / London, UK / Brussels, Belgium: Rallies were concurrently held in these three cities to condemn the recent hangings of Khanaki and the Isfahan protesters. Participants demanded accountability for the regime’s crimes and urged European governments to pursue a resolute policy in response.
Gothenburg, Sweden: Activists held a rally in direct solidarity with the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign spanning 59 Iranian prisons. Protesters warned of the increasingly grave risk to political prisoners, highlighted nationwide internet shutdowns, and expressed support for Maryam Rajavi’s call to expand the anti-execution campaign globally.
