Iran: 50 Activities by Resistance Units in Tehran and 16 Other Cities Marking the 47th Anniversary of the Anti-Monarchical Revolution
Highlighting the Slogans “Death to the Dictator” and “Neither Shah, Nor the Mullah”
Marking the 47th anniversary of the anti-monarchical revolution, Resistance Units emphasized the Iranian people’s resolve to establish a democratic republic through 50 activities in Tehran and 16 other cities. These cities included Mashhad, Shiraz, Isfahan, Babol, Tabriz, Karaj, Sari, Bandar Abbas, Zahedan, Kermanshah, Sanandaj, Ilam, Aligudarz, Qaemshahr, Bojnurd, and Marvdasht. The activities focused on the central slogans “Death to the dictator” and “Neither Shah, nor the Mullah.”

These activities included projecting images, broadcasting slogans in public places, hanging banners from bridges, and writing graffiti. In Tehran (on Imam Ali Highway and Sarv Street), Mashhad (at the Aseman Shopping Center), and Bojnurd, slogans were broadcast and images projected featuring messages such as “Iran’s freedom movement will never return to the winter of the Shah and the Mullah,” “Democracy and freedom with Maryam Rajavi,” and “The curse of the people and history upon the bloodthirsty Shah and Mullah.”

In Shiraz, Isfahan, and Babol, banners bearing images of the Iranian Resistance leadership, Massoud Rajavi and Maryam Rajavi, were installed on bridges. These banners displayed slogans such as “Death to Khamenei, hail to Rajavi” and “Death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Leader (Khamenei).” Simultaneously, extensive graffiti activities were carried out in other cities, featuring slogans such as “The only answer to the Sheikh is fire,” “Swearing by the blood of our comrades, we are armed on the battlefield,” “Iranians are awake; they hate the Shah and the Mullah,” “Neither the crown nor the turban, the mullahs’ time is up,” and “Freedom comes with ‘we can and we must’.”
