Iranian Regime’s Terrorists on EU Updated Blacklist

On February 23, 2022, the EU High Representative issued a declaration on behalf of the European Union, to announce the alignment of certain countries on the application of specific measures to combat terrorism.

The Council Decision updated and repealed a list of persons, groups, and entities that the EU considers terrorists.

According to the EU High Representative Declaration, the Candidate Countries North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Albania, the country of the Stabilization and Association Process and potential candidate Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the EFTA countries Iceland and Liechtenstein, members of the European Economic Area, as well as Ukraine and The Republic of Moldova align themselves with this Council Decision.
