Coinciding with the 61st anniversary of the founding of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), members of the Resistance Units carried out 150 daring operations, activities, and street gatherings in Tehran and 27 other cities across the country. These activities were successfully conducted despite heightened security measures and the presence of the mullahs’ regime surveillance cameras.

These activities, emphasizing the core slogan ‘No to the Shah, No to the Mullahs’ and rejecting all forms of dictatorship, renewed the pledge to the founders of the PMOI and the leadership of the Iranian Resistance to establish a democratic republic.

The activities included:

– In Tehran: Displaying the PMOI emblem and portraits of the organization’s founders on several bridges in the capital. Additionally, large banners featuring messages from the Iranian Resistance leadership were hoisted, carrying slogans such as ‘The PMOI is the steadfast fortress of Iran’s freedom’ and ‘The values and path of the PMOI are the guide for the uprising generation.’ Projecting the organization’s emblem onto Milad Tower and nine other locations in Tehran, as well as conducting collective activities—including by groups of mountain climbers—were among other extensive activities in the capital.

– In Tabriz, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz, Karaj, and Kermanshah: Organizing numerous collective gatherings, displaying placards and portraits. Rebellious youths in these major cities reaffirmed their pledge to overthrow the clerical regime with slogans such as ’61 years of No to the Shah and No to the Mullahs’ and ‘The PMOI is the guarantee of freedom and democracy.’

– In Urmia, Qom, Ahvaz, Sari, Kerman, Hamedan, Arak, Khorramabad, Sanandaj, Zabol, Kashan, Saveh, Iranshahr, Marvdasht, Qaemshahr, Behshahr, Fasa, Malayer, Baneh, Shirvan, and Tabas: Conducting collective activities, writing graffiti, and posting placards with slogans such as ’61 years of resistance with boundless sacrifice’ and ‘Death to Khamenei,’ while declaring support for Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan for a free Iran tomorrow.
