NCRI logoOn Tuesday, November 10, marking the 47th day of the nationwide uprising, the ceremony of the 40th day of Siavash Mahmoudi’s martyrdom was held in Behesht Zahra Cemetery in Tehran. A large crowd attended the ceremony and chanted, “This year is a year of sacrifice; Seyyed Ali (Khamenei) will be overthrown,” “Death to the Supreme Leader after many long years of crimes,” “My dear Siavash, I will take your revenge,” “Mahsa, Hadis, Siavash, Iran is like flame,” “This perished flower is a gift to the nation’s freedom,” “We pledge to our companions, we will stand to the end,” “Khamenei is a murderer, his rule is null and void.” The participant in the ceremony turned the event into another scene of the uprising. Siavash Mahmoudi was a 17-year-old teenager killed on September 21 in a direct gunshot by the Revolutionary Guards. In Rasht, Mohammad Rasool Momenizadeh was honored in a ceremony on his 40th day of martyrdom.

On Tuesday night, people staged a nightly demonstration on Hafez Street in Tehran and blocked the road by lighting fire. In the Aladdin shopping mall in Tehran, people protested, chanting anti-regime slogans. The suppressive forces attacked them with tear gas. The brave youths set fire to a large pro-regime banner on Jumhori Street opposite the Aladdin shopping mall, and the people expressed their solidarity with them by chanting “Death to the dictator.”

In Tehran-Pars, people chanted “Death to Khamenei” while honking their horns. In Ekbatan Township, despite the brutal attacks of the State Security Force on previous nights, nightly chants of “Death to the dictator” were cried out from the windows. In Narmak, Tehranpars, Payambar, and Shariati streets in Tehran, people chanted “Death to the dictator” and “I will kill whoever killed my sister” from the windows.

In Eslamshahr, Izeh, Marivan, Dehloran, Arak, Chabahar, Dara Abad, Divandarreh, etc., the youth held nightly demonstrations chanting “Death to Khamenei,” “This year is a year of sacrifice, Seyyed Ali (Khamenei) will be overthrown” and “Death to the dictator” and set up roadblocks by fire. Suppressive forces opened fire on protesters in Arak. In Dehloran, the youth engaged in hit-and-run clashes with the suppressive forces, and a teenager was injured by gunfire. In Bandar Abbas, the brave youths forced the SSF car to flee.

In Isfahan, the youth set up roadblocks in their nightly demonstrations by burning tires. Residents also chanted “Death to the dictator” in northern Eshraghi Street.

On Tuesday, a group of the medical staff of Namazi Hospital in Shiraz held a protest rally, and hundreds of people from Sistan and Baluchistan province shut down the Anjirak gold mine in Taftan and stopped mining activities.

In the meantime, the Revolutionary Guard Yahya Rahim Safavi, Khamenei’s assistant, senior advisor, and former Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, threatened other countries. As the state-run Channel Four TV reported on November 1, he said: “Let our foreign enemies know that we are monitoring them; if they cross Iran’s red lines, the Islamic Republic will respond decisively. You are very vulnerable; we have intelligence and operational readiness. If you continue interfering in Iran and violate our national security, unity, interests, and values, we will destroy you”.
