The number of registered executions since November 22, 2025, has reached 344 as of December 20. Today, Saturday, December 20, henchmen of the regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, executed several prisoners. The names of eight victims have been recorded thus far. The names of the remaining victims will be announced after verification. The regime resorts to executions to instill fear and suppress dissent.

The regime’s judiciary announced today that the death sentence for Aqil Keshavarz was carried out after being upheld by the Supreme Court. He was convicted of ‘espionage for Israel,’ ‘intelligence cooperation,’ and ‘filming military and security sites.’ He was a 27-year-old architecture student from Shahrood University who had been arrested in Urmia in May 2025 (Mizan state news agency, December 20).

Other victims of Khamenei’s killing machine on Saturday include: Yashar Tehrani in Karaj Central Prison, Moslem Salimi in Hamedan, Kian Papi in Aligudarz, Behzad Hosseini in Kermanshah, Yarhossein Hasanvand in Khorramabad, Mohammad Javad Kalani in Nahavand, and Hesam Norouzi in Ardabil.

The names of seven other prisoners hanged on Thursday, December 18, are: Abolfazl Shirzadi Moghadam, 30, in Malayer; Jaber Torkaman in Bukan; Karam Rezakarami in Bojnurd; one prisoner in Taybad; Ariyo (Mojtaba) Niazi-Vahdat in Kermanshah; and Mahmoud Farahmand and Rasoul Shahi in Qazvin.

The Iranian Resistance once again calls on the United Nations and its relevant bodies, the European Union and its member states, and all human rights defenders to take urgent action to save the lives of thousands of prisoners on death row in Iran. Inaction against the godfather of executions and terror only emboldens the medieval clerical dictatorship to continue and intensify its crimes.
