Iran: Chants of “Hail to Rajavi, Down With Khamenei and Raisi,” “No to the Shah, No to the Mullahs” in Lahijan

NCRI logoAt 11 pm local time, Tuesday, March 15, 2022, on the eve of the last Wednesday of the Iranian calendar, celebrated throughout Iran as Charshanbe-Suri (Fire Festival), the Resistance Units broadcast chants of, “Hail to Rajavi, down with Khamenei and Raisi,” “No to the Shah, no to mullahs, damned be to both of them,” and “Death to Khamenei, damned be Khomeini,” in Lahijan, in the northern province of Gilan. The Resistance Units chose the “Estakhr Island,” a recreational location used by youth during the Fire Festival. They called on compatriots to join protests aiming at overthrowing the dictatorial regime.
