The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced on March 1, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 497 cities across Iran had exceeded 223,600. The death toll in the provinces are as follows: Tehran 52,966, Khorasan Razavi 14,800, Isfahan 14,420, Khuzestan 11,750, Mazandaran 9,457, Lorestan 9,288, East Azerbaijan 8,483, Qom 8,380, West Azerbaijan 8,368, Golestan 5,815, Khorasan North 3,428, Zanjan 2,440, Hormozgan 2,425, and Bushehr 2,259.
