Iran: Coronavirus Update, Over 89,600 Deaths, August 16, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI-MEK) announced this afternoon, August 16, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 89,600 in 392 cities across Iran. The death toll in various provinces include: 21985 in Tehran, 6475 in Khorasan Razavi, 6190 in Khuzestan, 4425 in Mazandaran, 3682 in Lorestan, 2566 in East Azerbaijan, 2525 in Golestan, 2254 in Hamedan, 2170 in Kermanshah, 1427 in North Khorasan, 1122 in Semnan, 1101 in Markazi, 1053 in Ardebil, 1040 in Yazd, 751 in Qazvin, and 464 in South Khorasan. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.
