Today, on Sunday, April 16, there have been reports of the continued poisoning of female students in girls’ schools by agents of Khamenei in various cities, including Tehran (Setaiesh and Tolou schools), Karaj (Soleimani school), Qazvin (Yas Nabi school), Islamshahr (Etrat school), Ardabil (Meraj School), Urmia (Taravat School), Babolsar (Amanat School), and Baharestan, Tehran. Many students have been taken to medical centers as a result. In Urmia alone, over 40 students were sent to the hospital.

Today, the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Tehran University and the Faculty of Social Sciences of Allamah University organized a rally in protest against the repressive measures of the regime to impose the compulsory hijab and to protest against the crime of poisoning students of girls’ schools, and chanted slogans such as “Students are being poisoned, teachers are in prison, hijab is their excuse.”

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), called the continued poisoning of female students a grave and systematic crime orchestrated by Khamenei’s regime to quell uprisings. She called upon the international community to take immediate action to halt this human tragedy and demanded a thorough and impartial investigation by an international fact-finding committee.
