Defiant youths in Behbahan targeted the police headquarters in response to threats made by Ahmad-Reza Radan, the police chief, against women and for imposing mandatory hijab on Thursday evening, April 13. The echoes of several explosions were heard in the area.
Behbahan police headquarters operates on the frontline of suppression and confrontation with rebellious youths and fed-up people. This center dispatches suppressive mercenaries, especially the special unit, to fire bullets and tear gas, and to beat the people during protests.
