Demonstrators took to the streets to loudly protest the regime’s rapidly rising wave of executions and systematic internal crackdowns. Mirroring the message of their European and Australian counterparts, the organizers in Toronto issued an urgent call to all freedom-loving Iranians to mobilize internationally and join the upcoming June 20 mass rally in Paris to demand an end to the current dictatorship, halt the executions, and support the establishment of a democratic republic in Iran.

In a direct legislative escalation concurrently unfolding in Brussels, Belgium, representatives from Iranian youth associations across Europe convened for a policy summit titled “Iran: Wave of Political Executions – The EU’s Responsibility & Policy Options”. Backed by a joint statement signed by more than 1,000 young European-Iranians, the coalition presented evidence that the clerical regime has executed at least 31 political prisoners since mid-March 2026—including eight PMOI members—while leaving over 50 others on death row to suppress subsequent domestic uprisings.
Human rights activists and youth leaders publicly denounced Europe’s failed diplomatic approaches. They formally petitioned the European Union to implement a policy of zero tolerance toward regime intimidation within the diaspora, place targeted sanctions on human rights violators, and condition all future economic and diplomatic relations with Tehran on an immediate halt to capital punishment. Mirroring the political framework of the global street exhibitions, the Brussels summit explicitly rejected both monarchical and theocratic dictatorships in favor of Maryam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan for a secular, democratic republic, utilizing the forum to mobilize support for the massive June 20 international demonstration in Paris.

Simultaneously, across the globe in Australia, activists established a prominent public book exhibition in Melbourne to express direct solidarity with the Iranian people’s nationwide uprisings and to expose the judiciary’s recent wave of capital punishment. In France, supporters set up an extensive public information stand and book table in Paris to engage the French public, directly backing the ongoing popular revolution and demanding international isolation of the theocratic apparatus.

The French capital saw heightened activity as activists established a demonstration and exhibition directly in front of the historic Sorbonne University in Paris. The exhibition honored the victims of the recent hangings following the January 2026 uprisings, utilizing personal testimonies and photographs to showcase the human cost of the regime’s terror. Organizers used the platform to rally the international community and issue an urgent call for freedom-loving Iranians to converge on France for the grand June 20 rally under the banner of a democratic republic. Concurrently, in the United Kingdom, the Academics in Exile Association led an operational deployment in Manchester, setting up an interactive book table and photo exhibition that aggressively challenged Western appeasement policies and urged local citizens to reject both the current theocracy and any return to a monarchical dictatorship.

Regime Deadlock and the Strategy of Terror
The vast geographical reach of these international mobilizations exposes a profound structural reality: the Iranian regime’s domestic campaign of terror has completely failed to contain the momentum of the resistance. Terrified of the volatile internal environment following the January uprisings, the ruling clerics have attempted to project an aura of total invincibility through an unprecedented wave of executions and aggressive regional posturing. However, by taking the fight directly to the streets of Western capitals and targeting the regime’s embassies, the international diaspora has effectively neutralized this psychological warfare. These coordinated actions demonstrate that the global network of the resistance is more interconnected than ever, driving a clear wedge between the Iranian people and the dead-locked dictatorship while cementing the platform for a pluralistic, democratic republic.
