In yet another brutal crime, Khamenei’s executioners sent at least nine prisoners to the gallows on Sunday, May 4. These prisoners were: Ali Nouri, 35; Mojtaba Lakzaei, 34; Mousa Shokoohi, 40; Alireza Laloozaei; Yousef Soroorvash (Narouyi); Khosrow Sarani; and Mahmoud Sarani (Rakhshani), all executed in Birjand Prison; Saber Elyasi, 33, in Choobindar Prison in Qazvin; and Nayeb Baluchi, 38, in Zahedan Central Prison.

In addition to the prisoners named in previous statements, on Thursday, May 1, Hossein Shiravand, 28 years old, and Ahmad Derikvand were executed in Parsiloun Prison in Khorramabad, as well as a female prisoner named Saghar in Ghezel Hesar Prison. On Wednesday, April 30, Moslem Darvishi, 25 years old, was hanged in Sepidar Prison in Ahvaz, and Houshang Abbasi, 31 years old, was hanged in Tabriz Central Prison.

The medieval clerical regime futilely attempts to prevent the inevitable uprising of the people to overthrow its rule by spreading fear and terror. Imprisonment and execution are the last resort of a regime caught in a death trap.
