In the state-controlled statistics, announced by the Health Ministry spokesperson, the death toll changed from 486 to 175. i.e., 2.8 times less despite the rise in the number of infected patients by 5,500 in each of the past seven weeks!
While the regime is forcing the laborers back to work and Tehran’s traffic is heavier than before the COVID-19 pandemic, Rouhani, like the rest of the regime’s officials, brazenly warned the people not to hold “Yalda ceremony,” laying the ground to blame the increase in infections on the people.
Alireza Reisi, the spokesman for the National Coronavirus Combat Taskforce (NCCT): In Mazandaran, a downward trend has not yet started. Four cities of Kordkuy, Baft, Amol, and Galugah are on the verge of becoming red.
Pasteur Medical Institute faculty member: The next likely COVID-19 waves will be severe. We have missed the golden opportunities.
Member of the Supreme Council of the Nursing Organization: In some cities, up to 50% of nurses have contracted the Coronavirus.
Head of Babaei Air Base Hospital: 1,700 personnel in the 8th Fighter Air Base have been infected with COVID-19
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced this afternoon, Saturday, December 19, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 470 cities had exceeded 188,100.
