Thursday marks day 28 of the nationwide Iran protests for regime change. The protests began on November 15 over rising gasoline prices but quickly turned political.

The main opposition group People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), also known as the Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MEK), has announced the names of 432 of more than 1000 protesters killed by Iran’s regime in the Iran protests. The MEK has also published the photographs of 169 victims.

Protesters have been chanting for an end to the religious dictatorship of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and his President Hassan Rouhani. They are demanding the overthrow of Iran’s regime with all its factions and the corrupt repressive forces, including the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).

Reports by the MEK’s network inside Iran indicate demonstrations have taken place in more than 191 cities. More than 12,000 protesters have been arrested during the Iran protests.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), has called on the international community to intervene to halt the Iranian regime’s crimes against humanity.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE UPRISING:
Number of uprising cities: 191

Number of martyrs: At least 1000

Number of injured: More than 4,000

This Liberal government must do more than a pitiful five sentence press release to condemn the human rights violations happening right now in Iran. Conservatives will always support the people of Iran in their pursuit of freedom, democracy and human rights.
