Regime’s Foreign Minister’s participation in Human Rights Council:
An insult to victims and disregard for human rights values
The execution and killing machine of the religious fascism ruling Iran does not stop even during the speech of its Foreign Minister at the Human Rights Council in Geneva. In eight days since February 20, at least 18 prisoners have been executed. The regime can only rule with torture and execution.

The regime’s henchmen hanged two Baluchi prisoners, Hadi Arbabi and Mohammad Eshaq Gorgij, who had been in prison since 2019, in Zahedan prison this morning, Monday, February 27. On Sunday, February 26, five prisoners including two women were hanged in Birjand prison and another prisoner named Hamid Rahimi in Sanandaj prison.

On February 22, Mohammad Rasul Cholaki was executed in Ilam prison, on February 21, Davoud Rokjan was executed in Birjand prison, and on Monday, February 20, two Baluchi brothers named Alireza and Safar Mohammad Pour were executed in Torbat Jam prison. On February 20, a Kurdish prisoner named Moslem Moradi was executed in Sanandaj Central Prison.

The execution of five other prisoners, including the political prisoners Hassan Obayat and Sarkut Ahmadi, was announced previously between February 20 and 22.

The presence and speech by Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the regime’s Foreign Minister and a close associate of the former Quds Force Commander Qassem Soleimani, at the Human Rights Council session, is an insult to thousands of victims of human rights violations in Iran and trampling on the values of human rights that the international community has sacrificed tens of millions to achieve.

The dossier of the crimes of this regime must be referred to the United Nations Security Council, and its leaders, especially Ali Khamenei, Ebrahim Raisi as its president and Judiciary Chief Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, must be brought to justice for four decades of genocide and crimes against humanity.
