Maryam Rajavi calls on Iranian people to continue their uprising and commemorate martyrs

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian resistance, in a message broadcast by the Iran National TV (INTV) to the people throughout Iran, called on the Iranian people to continue their uprising and to commemorate Sane’ Jhaleh and Mohammad Mokhtari, who were slain in the February 14 uprising. She said: “The people of Iran, especially the youth, who have risen to overthrow the regime, will neither be intimidated nor give up. The uprising of the Iranian nation, which flourished once again on February 14, will soar, and the popular uprising will move on up until the fall of the dictatorship and the triumph of freedom.

Mrs. Rajavi added: “The religious fascism ruling Iran, by executing political prisoners, sought in recent weeks to intensify the intimidation atmosphere in the society. Nevertheless, those crimes worked against the regime’s desire and made the will of Iranian people, especially the youth, more resolute to annihilate the regime in its totality.
