The Iranian regime is exaggerating and bluffing when it comes to its drone bombers, the director of the Russian Centre for Strategy and Technology Analysis said on Tuesday.
According to Ria Novosti, Ruslan Pukhov also said the regime does not have the capability to defend itself against air assaults.
The clerical regime announced last week that it has produced new bomber drones named “Karar” or “Striker.”
“[The Iranian regime’s announcements] are exaggerations about its domestic defense capabilities,” the Russian expert said.
He added, “It is clear that the Iranian regime is not and will not be in the future in a position to produce an unmanned operational drone. This is something that can only be accomplished by the US and Israel. So, the Iranian regime is bluffing. It is highly probable that the drone that [the regime] unveiled recently cannot be used in conflict.”
