While the Universities of Medical Sciences across the country warn of a fourth wave of COVID-19 outbreak and an increase in the number of those infected, regime officials lies about the vaccine continue. Kianoush Jahanpour, director of the Health Ministry’s public relations said no vaccine has been imported yet, but we will be among the first countries to end vaccination. (Javan, January 20, 2021) Meanwhile, Saeed Namaki regime’s Health Minister claimed: “We are searching for the safest vaccine and are negotiating to procure the most effective vaccine.” (ILNA news agency, January 20, 2021)
Secretary of the National Coronavirus Combat Taskforce (NCCT) in Lorestan: In the last few days, we are witnessing an increase in the number of COVID-19 patients and in mortalities. (Mehr news agency, January 20, 2021)

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 478 cities had exceeded 204,200. The number of victims in Tehran is 49,666, Khorasan Razavi 13,835, Isfahan 12,880, Khuzestan 10,210, Mazandaran 8,122, East Azerbaijan 7,808, West Azerbaijan 7,508, Gilan 7,246, Fars 6,192, Sistan and Baluchestan 4,921, Kerman 4,525, Central Province 4,193, and Yazd 3,737.
