Iran: State Security forces attack protesting workers in Kerman

NCRI – The Iranian regime’s State Security Forces attacked protesting workers at a copper melting factory in southern province of Kerman on Sunday.

Some 300 workers had gathered outside the main gate of the factory since Wednesday to protest the unfulfilled promises made by the authorities.

The workers had blocked the main entrance of the factory complex since Wednesday causing halt in all activities at the factory.

On Sunday evening the SSF’s special units attacked and dispersed the protesting workers from the entrance area, however, the worker continue their protest inside the factory area.

The workers had been promised to be officially hired after one year working at the factory but over 18 months have passed and the authorities have not fulfilled their promises.
