Members of the Iranian communities, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), also known as the Mujahedin-e Khalq or the MEK, and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), have held protests in solidarity with the nationwide Iran protests in 20 major cities around the globe. These protests coincided with International Human Rights Day.

Iranians and supporters of the MEK and NCRI, in Stockholm held a photo exhibition in commemoration of 1000 martyrs of the Iran protests, including women and children, who were shot and killed by the mullahs’ regime. They also demanded the immediate release of over 12,000 people who were arrested by the regime’s security forces. The protesters also commemorated victims of the 1988 massacre – over 30,000 political prisoners who were mostly affiliated with the MEK.
