Iran Regime Approves 200 Million Euro Budget Supplement for Terrorist Qods Force to Export Terror and War to Region

Written by Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)

Ali Larijani, former IRGC commander and the current speaker of the Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament), announced that with the personal approval of the regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, the parliament has approved a 200 million Euro budget supplement to the terrorist Qods Force for the last two months of the Iranian calendar year from the country’s “National Development Fund”.

The Qods force will spend the funds from the “development fund” to develop further terrorist attacks and warmongering in the region, especially in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen. Previously, the Parliament had acted to add another 2 billion euros from this fund to increase the regime’s defense budget for the following year.

The plunder of the country’s wealth to fund wars and terrorism comes at a time when most Iranians’ incomes have fallen below the poverty line. Unemployment and inflation are spiraling up and workers’ wages have plummeted so low that they are unable to meet even one-third of their living costs. These wages are withheld most of the time for many months. Truth is that the regime plunders not only the country’s oil revenues but also all the Iranian people’s assets to fund its internal repression and its export of terror and war, and its unpatriotic nuclear and missile programs. This regime and its policies are at the root of the economic crisis and everyday problems that Iranian face.
