US Vice President Says Regional Allies in Middle East Are Confronting Iran’s Regime

Written by Amir Taghati

United States Vice President Mike Pence has said that Washington has brought regional countries in the Middle East together to confront Iran’s regime.

“In the Middle East, we put Iran on notice. We withdrew from that disastrous Iran nuclear deal. And this President has brought Arab countries together to confront and isolate Iran as never before,” Vice President Pence told a gathering in Atlanta on August 2.

Separately, Vice President Pence tweeted: “I am appalled to hear reports that Iran’s despotic rulers have punished yet another Christian woman for exercising her freedom to worship.”
