In continuation of the campaign on the occasion of the anniversary of the anti-monarchy revolution and the overthrow of Shah’s dictatorship on February 11, 1979, defiant youths torched and destroyed propaganda banners, signs, and symbols of the regime as well as large pictures of Ruhollah Khomeini, mullahs’ Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and defunct Commander of terrorist Quds Force Qassem Soleimani in 44 operations in Tehran and 26 other cities including Karaj, Mashhad, Amol, Rasht, Ardabil, Urmia, Meshkinshahr, Arak, Isfahan, Semirom, Hamedan, Sanandaj, Mahabad, Kermanshah, Shahr-e Kord, Esfarayen, Shiraz, Ahvaz, Izeh, Shoush, Dejpart of Khuzestan province, Kerman, Zahedan, Nikshahr, Bandar Abbas and Kish. The youths chanted “Death to Khamenei,” “Death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Leader (Khamenei)” and “Fire answers fire.”
