Criminal Execution of Samira Sabzeyan, Child Bride Victim and Mother of Two Children After 9 Years in Prison in Qezel Hesar

Today, December 20, 2023, one day after the United Nations resolution condemning the serious violation of human rights and the increasing number of executions by the clerical regime, the judiciary of the cruel regime of Khamenei committed another crime and hanged a female prisoner named Samira Sabzeyan, a mother of two children, after 9 years in prison, in Qezel Hesar prison.
Samira Sabzeyan Far was one of the victims of child marriage in the regime of the mullahs. She was married at the age of 15 and was arrested in 2014 at the age of 19 for the murder of her husband.
Today, the executioners of Khamenei also executed two other prisoners. A Baluchi compatriot named Najibullah Dahmardeh in Qa’emshahr Prison and Farzad Gol Mohammadi in Sanandaj Central Prison were hanged by the executioners.
On December 19, Ismail Mansouri (Ijbari) was hanged with another prisoner in Qezel Hesar prison, a prisoner named Moslim Farahani was hanged in Zanjan Central Prison, and on December 18, Ali Poorsiamak was hanged in Neyshabur prison.
The religious fascism ruling Iran has intensified the dimensions of execution, torture, and repression in order to confront the uprising and create an atmosphere of terror and panic, by taking advantage of the conditions resulting from the war in the region.
The Iranian Resistance calls on the United Nations, the European Union, member states, and relevant international bodies to strongly condemn these criminal executions and take urgent action to save the lives of death-row prisoners, especially female prisoners, and political prisoners. This regime must be expelled from the international community, and its leaders, especially Khamenei, Raisi, and Eje’i, must be brought to justice for four decades of crimes against humanity, genocide, and warmongering.
