9 Executions on April 21 and 26 Executions after Eid al-Fitr, Call for Immediate Action to Stop the Execution and Slaughter Machine
Ali Khamenei, the regime’s Supreme Leader, has accelerated the machinery of crime and execution to prevent an uprising, create an atmosphere of fear and terror, and escape the consequences of warmongering that is increasingly engulfing him. At least 9 prisoners were hanged on Sunday, April 21, and 26 prisoners in the 11 days after Eid al-Fitr in the prisons of Zanjan, Isfahan, Urmia, Hamedan, Mashhad, Qazal Hesar, Tabriz, Ahvaz, Kerman, and Chabahar have fallen victim to the mullahs’ killing machine.

Khamenei’s executioners today, April 21, hanged 9 prisoners in the prisons of Kerman, Qazal Hesar, and Chabahar. In these criminal executions, Ahmad Reza Miri, Shamsuddin Keshani, Shokat Shahbakhsh, and another prisoner, all Baloch compatriots, along with a Kurdish compatriot named Mardani in Kerman Central Prison; Alireza Shahbaz and Ali Jafar Taheri in Qazal Hesar Prison; and Saeed Jadghan and Mohammad Anjam Roz in Chabahar Prison were hanged.

On Thursday, April 18, the regime’s executioners hanged 4 prisoners, including two brothers named Zamaan and Salam Taheri, Gholam Gader Samani and Ebrahim Noorzehi, in Mashhad Central Prison and Faribourz Dadgar in Sepidar Ahvaz Prison. On Wednesday, April 17, Valiullah Bakhtavar was executed in Tabriz Central Prison and one prisoner in Qazal Hesar Prison. On April 11, 13, 14, and 15, 10 more prisoners were hanged by the executioners, as announced in the NCRI’s previous statement.

The Iranian Resistance once again calls on the United Nations, the relevant bodies, the European Union, and its member states to take immediate action to stop the machinery of torture and execution in the warmongering mullahs’ dictatorship and to save the lives of thousands of prisoners on death row. The ringleaders of this regime, especially Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader, Ebrahim Raisi, the regime’s president, and Mohseni Ejei, the regime’s head of the judiciary, must face justice for four decades of crimes against humanity and genocide.
