The British government has frozen the assets of the Iranian regime’s English-language channel Press TV, according to the Iranian state-run Jahan News on Friday.
Press TV confirmed the report and complained that the action is illegal. It also added, “No legal reasons for the action have been give so far. It has been reported that the order for freezing of the company’s assets has been issued at senior levels.”
Previously, the European Union banned the Iranian regime’s Arab-language al-Alam network for disseminating hatred and calls for reprisals.
