NCRI logoDefiant youths targeted the barracks of the 16th operational division known as Quds of Gilan province in Rasht. A loud explosion was heard in the area.

This division has a long history of oppression in the Kurdish regions of northwestern Iran and is a regular supplier of troops to the terrorist Quds Force. During the recent uprising in 2022 and 2023, the division’s forces were involved in the repression of protesters in various cities in Gilan, such as torture, beating, and intimidation of defiant youths.
