NCRI - The United Nations General Assembly's Third Committee adopted a resolution Tuesday, November 15, 2016, on the violations of human rights in Iran with 85 favorable votes.

In his speech aired on state-run TV Ofogh, Mullah Mehdi Ta'eb, a clergy close to Khmenei, unveiled the Iranian regime's plots in the region and talked about occupation of Saudi and Mecca by the regime's mercenaries in Yemen. Ta'eb is the head of Ammar headquarters, the center for organizing the regime's plain-clothed agents who have a criminal role in suppression of popular protests and demonstrations, and torturing and execution of the regime's opponents.

On Saturday, 19 November, the Anglo-Iranian community including supporters of the Iranian Resistance, the NCRI and human rights activists will highlight and condemn the alarming rate of executions in Iran at a rally in Trafalgar Square.

The participants will also urge the British government to support the International Campaign for Justice by taking appropriate steps on the international level to bring the perpetrators of the 1988 massacre of political prisoners in Iran to justice.

MPs and prominent human rights activists are to address the rally in support of the call for an halt to executions and an end to impunity for human rights abusers in Iran.

NCRI - On Sunday 29th October 2016, the Director of Human Rights and Minority affairs in Berlin, Mr. Christian Zimmermann commemorated the 24 members of PMOI/MEK who were killed during the missiles attacks in Liberty camp on 29th October 2015. Mr. Christian Zimmermann referred to the cooperation of German authorities with Iran as well as the policy of appeasement with the Iranian regime and stated:"Today, we commemorate the 24 members of PMOI/MEK whose pictures are behind me. They are only a small part of the thousands of people who have risen up against the religious dictatorship in Iran. They paid the price with their blood. On my right side, you will see the written figure of 30000.This figure is reminiscent of an incident in Iran.

During in his speech in the ceremony held for the IRGC members killed in Syria, the IRGC brigadier Mohmmad Ali Jaafari, head of the IRGC, once again insisted on the widespread dispatch of forces to Syria. He called killing the defenseless people of Syria as “defending the sanctity of the leader and revolution” and “Armed struggle of the Islamic revolution beyond Iran’s borders”
