Maryam Rajavi calls on international community to take urgent action to stop the war crimes and crimes against humanity by the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards, militias in Aleppo

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, hailed the steadfast people of the besieged city of Aleppo, describing the massacre of the its innocent people a war crime and a crime against humanity.

She said the mass executions by the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards and their mercenary militias were underway in Aleppo, adding that inaction against the greatest crime against humanity in the 21st century is totally unacceptable and shameful. She called on the international community to take urgent action to stop this brutal bloodbath and to prevent further massacres and killings.

NCRI - On the eve of the Human Rights Day, European lawmakers held a conference at the European Parliament on Wednesday December7. They strongly condemned the violations of human rights in Iran and urged the EU High Representative, Federica Mogherini and Member States to condition the expansion of relationships with Iran to the halt of executions.

NCRI - “Europe’s lawmakers, have a responsibility and cannot close our eyes on tragic things happening and the aggressive role of this Iranian regim.” and “cannot just go on condemning the actions,” Mr Heinz Becker, member of European Parliament from Austria told a meeting at the European Parliament.

On the eve of the Human Rights Day, European lawmakers held a conference at the European Parliament on Wednesday 7 December. NCRI - Professor Raymond Tanter, former member of the U.S. National Security Council said the new U.S. government will confront the policies and threats of the Iranian regime, particularly its missile program and export of terrorism.

Upon the invitation of the Friends of a Free Iran inter-parliamentary group at the European Parliament, Maryam Rajavi attended a conference entitled, "Iran: Wave of executions, EU policy," on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, on the eve of the World Day of Human Rights. In an article titled “Maryam Rajavi: defeating ISIS depends on stopping Iranian regime’s interventions in the region”, the Al Khaleej Online newspaper reported on a conference held in Paris on November 26: “the President of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) Maryam Rajavi stressed that ending the war which is raging in some of the countries in the Middle East begins with stopping the Iranian regime’s interventions in the region. She asked the new US government to reconsider the former US policies in the Middle East.”
