NCRI - Mohammad-Ali Jaberzadeh, one of the most seasoned and senior officials of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) passed away on Saturday, February 11. He died in Paris after a long battle with various illnesses and health complications. He was 68.

In response to a biased, distorted, and misleading story by Associated Press about the Iranian opposition, a complete rebuttal was provided to relevant editors at the AP on February 5, 2017, but regrettably, the AP has so far failed to correct the many errors and misrepresentations of facts. To set the record straight, here is a brief clarification of facts and some insight on the crux of the matter.

Speaking on Tuesday January 24 at a briefing held in the U.S. Congress, Eliot L. Engel, the Ranking Member on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, condemned the Iranian regime’s behavior in the region particularly in Syria.


NCRI - In response to the question ‘what were the positive and negative aspects of Astana’s two-day talks?’, Dr. Hadi Al-Bahra told Al Arabiya TV that “the positive aspect of the talks, was the international community’s willingness and desire to find a solution to stop the killing and bloodshed in Syria. And its negative aspect was that the negotiations should have been conducted between the parties involved in Syrian conflict and their sponsoring countries.”
