An international conference was held in Tirana, Albania, on the occasion of the International Women's Day.
Maryam Rajavi, political personalities and activists of the equality movement from various countries participated. The conference entitled, "Women in Political Leadership", featured speeches on the threat of the mullahs' fundamentalist and misogynous tyranny in Iran, the Iranian women's resistance against the regime and the trailblazing role of the vanguard heroines of Ashraf. Maryam Rajavi made the following remarks to the conference.
Six human rights organisations with consultative status to the United Nations human rights body have submitted a joint written statement to the current session of the Human Rights Council about the 1988 massacre of political prisoners in Iran and the need for the international community to hold the perpetrators to account.
The protest of hundreds of workers of Iran National Steel Industries in Ahvaz, Khuzestan continued on February 28th for its eighteenth day in front of the governor’s office. They are protesting non-payment of their salary and benefits for five months as well as the uncertain future of their job and factory situation. The workers held banners reading: "We, the workers of National Group, have not been paid for the past few months " and "We, the workers of National Group, are standing until the end." During Rouhani’s visit to Khouzestan, they also gathered Ahvaz airport and protested him by chanting “Rouhani, where are your promises?”

NCRI - The former Italy's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giulio Terzi warned about the interference of the Iranian regime in the region, stating that the regime intends to cover its disabilities in resolving people's issues by exporting domestic crisis to abroad. Consequently, the regime is in dire need to export fundamentalism and terrorism and it cannot survive without interference.
The Iranian Resistance strongly condemns the trip of criminal cleric Hashem Hosseini Boushehri, a member of the Presidency of the Assembly of Experts and Vice Chairman of two organs of the regime for the export of terrorism and fundamentalism called "Al-Mustafa Society" and "Al-Zahra Society" to Austria and calls for its cancellation. The mandate of Al-Mustafa Society and Al-Zahra Society is the recruitment of non-Iranian mercenaries and training and organizing them for terrorist operations and expansion of Islamic extremism outside of Iran.
NCRI - On Friday February 17th 2017, a protest gathering was staged against the Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif in the city center of Munich. The participants protested the presence of the Iranian regime in Munich Security Conference, and stated: the Iranian regime's representative should not have a place in Munich Conference since they are themselves the source of terrorism and fundamentalism, the Godfather of ISIS and the main cause of the crisis and war in the region.
The people of Ahvaz in southwest Iran continued their rallies for the fifth consecutive day outside the regime’s governorate, protesting atrocious air contamination, and continuous water and electricity outages in various cities across Khuzestan Province.

On Tuesday, 14 February 2017, the US representative office of the National Council of Resistance revealed in a press conference in Washington D.C. new information about the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) hosting terrorist training camps for foreign fighters.
